For the first time ever I got it together to make and send Christmas cards! Granted, not many, and I waited until the last minute to get them in the mail, but it happened. With the busyness of work this time of year, the holidays always sneak up on me. Now I'm on break and it finally feels like Christmas around here. Here's a series of eight cards I created using various DCWV products. For the first two, I started with cards from the Christmas Winter Foil & Kraft Box. Then, I die cut a tree out of Holiday Glitzy Glitter Stack and layered strips of paper from the Candy Cane Lane Stack behind it.
For these cards I placed the die cut glitter Christmas tree upon more layers of paper from the Candy Cane Lane Stack. I fussy cut the sentiments that are already glitter embossed.
For the next set, I continued the theme of the first two cards and I layered paper behind the trees. However, this time I used paper from the Storybook Christmas Stack and the Foiled Vellum Stack.
Through out the Christmas card series I also used black paper from the Embossed Foil Paper Stack and added the DCWV Adhesive Mirrors to all the trees.
Perhaps next year I'll start crafting cards earlier and get more sent out to folks? It could happen! Visit the DCWV blog for more holiday inspiration from my fellow design team!
