I'm sharing my latest Design Team layout for Scrap Our Stash! If you follow my instagram, you've likely seen this photo before, as it's been my avatar for awhile. I've wanted to scrap this photo for awhile and this recently acquired rainbow paper (used in the background) and unicorn paper (used to mat the photo) was the perfect choice. During last year's pride I threw a Unicorn and Rainbow theme party. It was essentially the party of my dreams and what I hope will become an annual tradition. It was also a crafty wonderland, as I made a bunch of unicorn horn party favors, my tutu and headpiece, and rainbow decorations of all sorts - banners, streamers, signs. I hope to keep adding to the decorations and coming up with more ideas as the years progress.
Want to play along with this month's challenge? Create a layout and include an item from your stash for each letter in the word S-T-E-N-C-I-L. For my layout this was: S - stitching, T - thickers, E - enamel dots, N - numbers, C - chevron, I - ink, L - letters. Please remember to list what items you used for each letter when posting your entry. Entries linked up without a list will not be eligible for the monthly prize drawing. All entries are due March 29th.
More fringe! I so loved my last fringe card that I wanted to create a layout with fringe. I picked paper from my stash (DCWV and Basic Grey) to create a layered rainbow background before cutting it into fringe. Then, I added matching color-coordinated ephemera (mostly Heidi Swapp that I staped onto the page), buttons, brads, and enamel dots. I also added the usual suspects, some stitching, a title cut from my Cameo, and some splashes of black ink. Here's my favorite part of this layout - the closeups!
